Summer Giving List

If you are anything like me, the first few weeks of Summer break bring so much freedom. Freedom from the every day routines and schedules. It’s a season to try new things, take a road trip, sit by a campfire, jump on an airplane for that vacation you’ve planned for all year, or simply stay up a little later to take in the night sky. Then, July comes and I start getting antsy… I try to find simple yet impactful adventures for my family or projects to occupy the afternoons when we’ve already been to the pool every day that week. I was doing just that, when I came across an amazing resource that was too good not to share.

I first became familiar with The Giving Manger last Fall. It’s a resource that allows your family to focus on the true meaning of Christmas and giving. You can learn more about it HERE. This Summer they came out with a Summer Giving Checklist that gives your family ideas on how to serve in your home, your neighborhood, and your community. Just reading through the first few ideas, it was too good not to share!

This checklist gives you ideas on how to use your Summer to give to others. It doesn’t take much to make someone smile by finding ways to bless them or just let them know you thought of them!
